Chinese Fridge iPad App Now Live

Posted by | February 14, 2013 | Uncategorized | No Comments

I’m happy to report my first-ever app, Chinese Fridge, is now live in the App Store!

Chinese Fridge is a Chinese game for kids that makes learning fun and painless, teaching kids through visual and audible interactions to help teach new vocabulary and reinforce past lessons. The app is free for download and completely ad-free, for an experience as kid-friendly as possible.

Check it out for yourself – it’s actually pretty fun for people of all ages, though it’s targeted towards kids. The app includes both simplified and traditional Chinese characters, as well as the pinyin phonetic system.

Above is an image of the “Sheep Stampede” special block animation in action.

Big thanks to my Chinese teacher friends who helped test the app and provide feedback!

Below is a basic video review of the app, in case you’re interested in seeing it in action!
